ICAD 2026 invites submissions of original research papers and will include oral and poster sessions, a student paper contest, and sessions offered by experts in AI topics. ICAD will emphasize the applications of AI and key AI verticals that impact technology applications and innovations. Download Call for Papers Flyer here.
Submissions are invited on topics including, but not limited to:
Track 1: Foundations of AI, Data Science & Analytics
Track 2: Applied AI & Analytics in Industry &Enterprise
Track 3: Frontiers in AI and Data Analytics
Track 4: Responsible AI, Safey, & Governance
Note: International authors whose papers are accepted to ICAD 2026 but cannot make it to the US to participate in-person may be able to present virtually. This will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Submitting authors will have the option to submit to either the Oral Session or the Poster Session. Please see the appropriate guidelines for each.
FOR THE ORAL SESSION
All submissions to the oral session must be full papers in IEEE dual-column format, and must comply with the following specifications:
Paper format is PDF
Paper length must be 6 pages (minimum) to 8 pages (maximum) including figures, tables & references
Page size of US Letter (8.5” x 11”) or A4 (210 mm x 297 mm)
Figures can be in color or grayscale
All fonts embedded within the PDF file
Maximum size of 10.0 MB
No page numbers
No application of security settings
All submissions to the poster session must be a one- to two-page summary of your work. The two-page maximum is to include all references and the submission must be in PDF format.
Summaries should include a concise description of the idea, the results or findings, supporting imagery and figures, and a discussion of the implications of the work to the selected domain. Full literature searches are not expected, although relevant citations should be included.
Submission deadline: January 15, 2026
The poster design itself does not need to be submitted with the summary on the initial submission deadline. Instead, authors whose poster summaries are accepted will be asked to submit their poster as a PDF at the camera-ready deadline. Authors of accepted posters will also need to bring a physical printed copy of their poster to display at the poster session. Full instructions on preparing your poster will be send with acceptance notifications.
Note: Posters are non-archival, and the 1- to 2-page summaries will not be included in the conference proceedings.

Only accepted, registered, and presented papers in the oral session that meet IEEE’s quality standards will be submitted for inclusion in the IEEE Xplore® Digital Library.
