IEEE ICAD 2026

2027 IEEE International Conference on AI and Data Analytics (ICAD 2027)

June 29 – 30, 2027

Boston, Massachusetts

Why ICAD

IEEE ICAD is one of IEEE’s newest AI conferences and has quickly become IEEE’s largest U.S.-based AI conference, held annually in the Boston area. It brings together AI researchers, system developers, industry innovators, and mission practitioners to discuss advances in AI and their transition into real-world applications.

ICAD is particularly relevant to researchers and practitioners developing AI-enabled capabilities, advancing foundation models and agentic AI, evaluating AI for operational applications, studying AI assurance and trustworthiness, conducting AI red teaming and vulnerability assessments, defending against deepfakes and other synthetic media threats, and exploring both the opportunities and risks of increasingly capable AI systems.

The conference spans foundational AI research, data science and analytics, emerging AI technologies, cybersecurity, software engineering, responsible AI, and applications across industry, government, and other sectors.

Unlike many conferences that focus primarily on research advances, ICAD emphasizes both advancing AI research and translating those advances into practical capabilities and operational impact. It also provides a valuable forum for collaboration among academia, industry, and government.

Participation in ICAD offers opportunities for professional growth, technical leadership, collaboration, and engagement with the rapidly expanding international AI community, including researchers, technologists, industry leaders, government practitioners, and policymakers.
